Our story
Dentascribe initially started in August 2022 at Royal London Dental Hospital as a interactive dental charting tool.
As Dentascribe's interactive charting tool became widely used throughout the dental hospital, we decided to look at other ways we could improve patient care.
It was clear that was a problem with clinical records. Comprehensive clinical records took a long time to write, and were often missing important details. In dental hospitals, standardised clinical notes are key to ensuring high quality shared care and a continuous patient journey. We needed a better way to write clinical notes.
The result? In December 2023, Dentascribe expanded to include note-taking. It was a super simple tool that any clinician could use for free, with comprehensive templates that worked with the hospital's own EHR system while keeping all patient data secure on-device.
